How to play
Everything you need for your first night.
Manga Craft is a block world drawn like a manga page. Mine it, craft from it, build in it — and keep your hearts up after dark.
Starting out
- Answer the age question and choose a player name — a nickname, never your real name.
- Create a world, or type a Story Code to open one somebody shared.
- Punch a tree for logs, turn them into planks and sticks, and make a crafting table.
- Make a wooden pickaxe, dig down to stone, and make better tools.
- Before night: a shelter, a light, and something to eat.
Staying alive
- Hearts — ten. They come back slowly over time.
- Hunger — the bar under your hearts. Eat to keep it up; grilled meat fills most.
- Breath — under water it runs down; come up for air.
- Falls hurt. Landing in water or catching a ladder breaks the fall.
- Night brings enemies out. Storms roll in too.
Controls
Made for your thumbs. You can move the buttons’ size and see-through level in Settings.
- Move
- Put a finger anywhere on the left half of the screen and slide.
- Look
- Drag on the right half of the screen.
- Mine · Place · Attack · Eat
- The big button. It does what fits what you hold and what you aim at.
- Jump
- The Jump button. On a ladder, walk into it or hold Jump to climb; let go to slide down.
- Dash
- A quick burst forward.
- Use
- Appears only when you aim at something that opens: a door, a crafting table, a kiln, a chest.
- Bag
- The bag button beside the hotbar. Tap a hotbar slot to hold that item.
- Pause
- Top right: resume, the Store, the Block Shop, settings, Play Together and Photo Mode.

| Gold | 250 blocks | 6× faster | Opens obsidian |
Each tool is fastest on its own blocks: pickaxes on stone, axes on wood, shovels on earth and sand. Shears last 240 blocks.

Photo Mode
Pause › Photo Mode hides the buttons and lets you frame a shot with manga panel frames and stamps. Photos are saved on your phone.
